Yes, you read that right - for 2018 we are going 100% biker!

As bikers ourselves, we know what matters. From a hot cuppa the moment you arrive, a free lift to the pub or restaurant on an evening, to first hand route advice and even emergency bike rescue should you get it all wrong.

Torguish House, in the Nairn Valley just 5 miles south of Inverness, is the perfect base from which to explore the Scottish Highlands, with every road and attraction of any note being within easy reach. No need to pack up every day and move on to another B&B - leave it all here and enjoy fresh blat out in a different direction every day of the week!

The house was built prior to the Jacobite uprisings of 1715 and later became the childhood home of late author Alistair MacLean. The former manse has now been tastefully renovated and retains many of its original features.

We have 5 en-suite letting rooms suitable for couples, families and groups, sleeping up to 17 guests in total, plus four self-catering cottages for longer stays. We also have a purpose built drying room for any wet gear... not that it ever rains here!

Incidentally, we are also 'Ride' magazines official start and finish point for the NC500 (having hosted the boys when they came up to write the feature, as seen in the September 2016 issue) and have been mentioned in numerous other bike magazines both in the Uk and abroad.

So for the best roads, the best scenery and the best in biker friendly hospitality, please email us at info@torguish.co.uk or better still, give us a bell on (+44) 01463 772208 or 07929 390828 for a chat.

Please note that the postcode does not work with GPS - trust it, and you WILL get lost. It couldn't be easier though - search Torguish House on Google Maps if you're unsure!
