Torguish House Inverness B&B Accommodation and self catering cottages
offer the perfect base from which to explore the Highlands of Scotland.
Situated
4miles South of the Capital of the Highlands, Inverness, in the beautiful
surrounds of Daviot, it is the perfect base for sight-seeing to the
coasts of North, East and West, all of them an easy day trip through
some of the most beautiful and spectacular scenery of Scotland. Loch
Ness, Skye and the Orkney Islands are all easily accessible for day
excursions. Torguish House has 8 rooms, all en-suite offering the widest
possible choice to suit your individual needs.

| The B&B is formerly the manse for Daviot Church and was also
the childhood home of the late author author Alistair
MacLean, best remembered for writing several novels such as
"The Guns of Navarone" and "Where Eagles Dare". |

Torguish Self-Catering Cottages, Inverness
Situated within the wooded grounds, Torguish cottages
provide a cosy base for 2 to 4 guests. "An Sabhal" and
"An Bathach" have 1 double + 1 twin room, whilst "An
Staball" and "An Bothan" both have 1 double room.
All have living/dining room, galley-style kitchen and ground floor
bathroom with over bath shower. |

More about the Inverness B&B Accommodation
Torguish House B&B is set in wonderful garden grounds directly off
the main A9 routes North and South. Special features include the peacocks,
chickens and other bird life wandering freely within the garden grounds.
Each room in Torguish is named after
a famous Scottish Clan and Alistair Maclean novels are in evidence in
each of the rooms. The house was built prior to the Jacobite uprisings
of 1715 and is a fine example of the architecture of the time.
Undercover motorcycle parking with secure ground
anchors are provided. No pets are permitted in either Torguish House
or in the cottages. Torguish House + self catering cottages are strictly
no smoking.
Mike, Angie, Ben and Siobhan provide a warm Highland welcome and the
best of Scottish cooking in providing a breakfast to remember with their
porridge being a particular favourite of the guests.
